URSF DANCE & FITNESS:

United Rhythms San Francisco a dance fitness group that celebrates variety of rhythms cultures and fitness workouts from all over the world.

URSF provides high-intensity routines that build cardiovascular fitness while improving dance technique endurance and coordination.  URSF includes a fusion of various fitness venues such as original choreography, Zumba, Mixxed Fit, and more.  

 

URSF STAGE & PERFORMING ARTS: 

United Rhythms San Francisco a performance and fitness group that celebrates variety of rhythms and cultures from all over the world.

URSF is recruiting talent of all ages and cultures to explore and express movement on & off the stage to perform in annual events such as Carnaval SF. URSF gives dancers the opportunity to reconnect and pay homage to indigenous roots while providing a healthy and balanced mental state of mind, uplifting one's inner spirit and giving strength to be free.

 

BOOTCAMP EXPRESS {STRENGTH TRAINING}: 

Rigorous interval training sequence with high-intensity exercises that build cardiovascular fitness while improving muscular strength, endurance and coordination. You can expect to use a variety of different equipment such as weights, bands, balls and other tools to get stronger and leaner.

 

MIXXEDFIT:  

People-inspired fitness program that combines explosive dance movements with bodyweight toning. 

 

ZUMBA:

“Zumba” is a Latin-style (Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Bachata, Soca, Samba, Flamenco, Cha-Cha, and Quebradita) dance exercise program fused with Hip Hop and other International Rhythms such as Bollywood.  Exercise in disguise that is fun and safe. No prior dance experience is necessary – anyone can do it. The classes create cardiovascular benefits by use of upbeat fast and slow rhythms. The music keeps people coming back for more.  

ZUMBA TONING: 

The purpose of the Zumba Toning Program is to create a light resistance training fitness experience that is FUN, SAFE, & EFFECTIVE!  Zumba Toning utilizes muscle toning and sculpting exercises and combines them with the dance-fitness movements and rhythms from Zumba Basics. The toning and body sculpting exercises either uses body resistance movements (for example, lunges and/or squats) and/or utilize light hand weights or Zumba Toning sticks for added resistance.   Zumba Toning is a great way to add a little extra spice to your regular Zumba.

 

ZUMBA SENTAO:

Zumba Sentao combines strength and resistance exercises with cool dance moves on and around a chair, which includes rocking Zumba® party dance rhythms and international flavors.  Zumba Sentao class is super effectively working your core muscles. Normally this kind of exercise is very hard for most people to do while lying on the ground (the dreaded v-sit or bicycle exercise).  It is much easier to do in a chair, & very effective.

 

ZUMBA FOR KIDS:

Through dance, exercise, and music, Zumba for Kids is a healthy way for kids to be encouraged to develop a healthy lifestyle.  Zumba for Kids will teach your kids new rhythms and styles of music/culture. All classes are taught to cultivate individuality & creativity, but also to develop confidence, leadership, respect, teamwork, and responsibility.  Zumba for Kids involves dancing pre-choreographed music taught to the children in segments as well as games within songs. Together we learn to do fitness through dance and do a little strengthening and stretching through Yoga/Pilates/Boot Camp.
